Coordinated Gift Bag and Card

Use Computer Graphics to Wow the Birthday Gal

Coordinated Card and Gift Bag

Make a gift bag to match your card.

If you make your own greeting cards, why not make your own gift bags as well?

It’s so special to have everything coordinated. The bag and card in the photo which I made for Nancy, generated more oohs and aahs than the gift inside the bag.

This is the same cake which I had made for a scrapbook layout called "The Girlfriend Cake". I commented at the time that I would likely use the design again ‘cause I thought it came out so cute.

The Scrap Girls template for the birthday cake was designed by Erica Hite.

Scrap Girls also has craft templates for gift bags. Look in the Boutique under "Cards and Crafts".

I haven’t bought the Scrap Girls versions yet because I have an old 3M Printscape Gift Bag Kit with three more bags to go.

I’m not sure the 3M kit is even sold anymore.

It’s very nice and came with the paper, rope handles, double-sided tape, software and template.

When I use up my three last bags, I will definitely buy the Scrap Girls products. They will never be used up!

There are two sizes you can choose from, Valerie Randall’s would make about the size you see above and Jan Hicks designed a mini-gift bag that is perfect for those "best gifts" that "come in small packages".

Laying out the card with the curved flap that covers the "Happy Birthday" message inside was a bit tricky. Perhaps the subject of another article!
