Bag Drying Rack
Recycle Your Plastic Bags Using Shaaron's Bag Drying Rack

This may be an old idea but I just made one for the first time. And this is for us older gals who don't like to be wasteful.
I recycle my good Ziploc bags. If I have used one for rolls let's say, I will rinse it out and leave it to air dry.
So I made a stand to dry them on. Can be used for the large ones and the smaller ones at the same time. I don't like thinking of these things in our landfills.
I took a wood base and drilled screw holes in the base all the way through. Then cut four dowels in different heights and drilled holes at the end of each.
I screwed the dowels to the base.
Used heavy duty glue to attach a decorative wood item (I painted and sealed four different small bird houses) to the top of each dowel. I also decorated the base with small, flat wood items.
I painted and sealed everything before putting the pieces together. Seemed easier to me.
I ended up wrapping artificial vines up the poles since it looked too bare.
I couldn't find a smaller leafed vine and at some point may change that out but for now it works fine. Just think of the possibilities in changes that can be made on this.
Then glue four small wooden balls on the bottom of the base for feet. It looks great and works great. I think I saw this idea a very long time ago in a catalog and figured I could make it myself and save money.
Sure cost me less and I enjoyed making it.
Shaaron and I hope you enjoy making this project too!
