Heart Beaded Décor Candle
These Beaded Candles Are Easy To Make And Appropriate For Many Occasions

Put several of these around and see the sparkle of the glass beads reflecting the flickering candlelight. ¡Que romantico!
These are so quick and easy, they make great last minute gifts for any occasion. A heart works well for Mother's Day, an anniversary or to cheer someone you care about. For St. Patrick's Day use a shamrock shape. For the Fourth of July or Christmas, a star would work. For Halloween or Thanksgiving, how about a pumpkin shape? Use your imagination and have fun!
You can also find appropriate decorative ribbons for the various occasions.
Beaded Candle Materials
- 1 pillar candle any size desired
- 1 heart pattern or stencil - example is 3" across
- Double sided tape
- Stylus or toothpick
- 5mm glass beads in shades of pink & red - example has 31 beads
- Short headpins
- Valentine ribbon
Assembling the Candle
Place the heart pattern on the candle with double sided tape. Use the stylus or a toothpick to poke small holes all around the heart about ¼" apart. If using a heart stencil, poke the holes all around the inside of the stencil design. Remove the pattern.

Put a headpin into each bead and alternating the pink and red beads push the pin into the hole starting at the bottom of the heart. Continue around.
Cut two pieces of Valentine ribbon and glue or use headpins to hold in place.
Several of these can be made in an hour. Shhh, if these are to be gifts, the recipients will never know ;-)
