Tip Frosty's Hat Christmas Card

If you’re tired of sending out the ubiquitous annual newsletter that offends as many people as it pleases, why not send a mini-album of the year in photos? After all, they do say, "A picture is worth a thousand words".

Tip Frosty's Hat Christmas Card open

The text reads,

Q: Ice and snow,
The Winds that blow ...
Where did yet another year go?????
A: For our answer, lift up Frosty’s hat.

When the reader lift Frosty’s hat up, out comes a mini-photo album with pictures of the year’s events and adventures.

The card is note card size (4 1/8 by 5 1/4 inches); so an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of cardstock makes two cards.

Cut each strip of cardstock to 4 1/8 x 9 1/4; score at 5 inches and fold the bottom up to form a pocket.

Glue the sides of the pocket and write your message above it.

If you would like to make more than a few of these cards and know just a little about computer graphics, this article can help you figure out how to print such a two-sided project.

For the cover of the mini-album, I found this darling Frosty wired-ribbon which adds texture and dimension to the card.

The cover design could as easily be hand drawn on cardstock or printed using your computer. Each cover measures 2 1/2 x 3 inches when folded.

Select your pictures and print them to fit your cover. Assemble and staple each booklet; insert in the card’s pocket.
