Wire Ribbon Christmas Candle
Down-to-the-Wire Christmas Craft Idea
Ribbon-Wrapped Pillar Christmas Candle

Wired ribbon is a great and versatile craft material. It makes any gift look elegant.
But don’t just think of it as gift wrap material.
I used it to make my Christmas cards last year and often use it on my wine gift bags.
When you’re down-to-the-wire with just a few crafting days left until Christmas, here’s a quick and easy Christmas craft idea using wired ribbon.
Christmas Candle Materials
- Pillar candles in colored plastic or glass holders
- Wired ribbon to coordinate with the candle holders
- Strong tacky household glue like E600 or Household Goop
Tools
- Scissors
- Wide rubber bands
Notice in the photo that the silver wired ribbon is mesh allowing the blue candle holder to show through.
The purple ribbon is used on a purple candle holder and does not completely cover it; whereas the Christmas motif ribbons entirely cover the candle holders.
Play with various combinations until you have a pleasing design.
Cut the ribbon to the finish length plus one inch.
Fold ½ inch over on each end and make sure the wire ends are securely tucked away.
Apply glue to the folded ends and position around the candle holder.
Use rubber bands to hold each piece in place until the glue sets.
