You want something that will not be demeaning to adults, yet will result in something they can feel proud of.
I had fun with this and surveyed friends who have taught school or crafting, worked with seniors in various capacities or are themselves seniors with limited hand dexterity.
First check out my tips about Senior Crafts.
This list is just for starters. I’ll be putting up more step-by-step instructions for those with limited hand use as soon as I can.
Tissue Paper Flowers are good because the petals should not be uniform. They look more realistic if they vary in shape and size.
Craft Foam Fridge Magnets. The patterns could be enlarged and pre-cut.
Craft Foam Door Hangers. You can buy the door hangers pre-cut or cut your own. Let the seniors decorate them with pre-cut letters and scrapbook embellishments.
Clay Pot Table Centerpiece. Group members could use the paper flowers they already made to create this lovely table decoration.
Potpourri Bags. The bags can be bought read-made and simply filled and tied in class.
