A Digital Scrapbooking Journal - Part Two
My Digital Scrapbooking Progresses
January 2, 2007: Digi-scrapping Away

Today, I decided to try some of my digital scrapbooking tools to decorate a Valentine bagalope.
No, it's not a relative of the antelope or the cantaloupe; a bagalope is a little gift bag made out of an ordinary envelope.
It's just the perfect size for traditional Valentine's Day gifts from jewelry to little candy hearts.

Thursday, February 08, 2007: Into Each Life, Some Rain Must Fall...

...So Bloom Where You're Planted!
I get a kick out of combining metaphors. Sometimes the results are very thought-provoking. This pair really speaks to me at times. You should always try to "bloom where you're planted" but it becomes especially important when life gets too stressful.
When some rain falls into our lives, the best approach - in fact the only productive one - is to be proactive. Take stock and decide what you need to do to improve your life.
No one else can do it for you. You're not likely to win the Million Dollar Lottery. So give up the daydreams and take the necessary steps to make your (realistic) dreams a reality.
That's what I'm trying to do. I feel like I've overextended myself by branching in too many directions and I need to cut back. But where? I guess I need to set some priorities and then decide what steps I can take to allow more time for my top priorities. Digitial-scrapbooking is definitely on my list of priorities.
I created the banner above using the following Scrap Girls digital scrapbooking products:
- Esprit Paper
- Refresh Biggie
- Brushes MST Alpha Set Circled.
It was good therapy!
