Drop Shipping

Drop Shipping is an Ideal Way to Supplement Your Income

Drop shipping has been around for a long time. The process involves selling a product that you don’t ever take physical
possession of. It is shipped in your or your business’s name directly to the customer. You would generally get paid first, then pay the drop shipper who takes over from there.

As you can imagine, this type of selling requires little up front investment.

You can advertise the goods you want to sell in any number of ways. The traditional ones of newspaper ads and mail order still work very well, especially as more people get suspicious of the Internet. But drop shipping really took off with the growth of the internet.

Online auctions were a big driver behind this movement. As people cleaned out the house of salable items, they began to look for other sources of products. It seems that most people get involved with drop shipping by auctioning goods at sites such as

Bid, Buy or Sell on eBay!

If you are interested in making a supplemental income this way, download and read this free ebook, Make Your New Auction Sell by Sydney Johnston, who has been making a living from online auctions for years.

She covers drop shipping in detail in the book, with an emphasis of selling in online auctions.

Besides mail order and online auctions, you can create a virtual store either through sites such as Amazon or eBay Stores or you create your own website with a catalog and shopping cart built in.

Please visit Build Your Own Website? and Are Free Websites Worth It for more information and resources on virtual stores and websites.
