Decorated Easter Egg Ideas - Part Ten

Different Ways to Decorate Eggs

Bowl of Easter Eggs

Designer Easter Eggs

If you're looking for something a bit different for your Easter eggs this year, here are some interesting twists on the traditional dyed egg.

All of the examples shown use wooden eggs (except for the dyed sticker egg) and can be used for display purposes or for egg hunting.

Additional supplies for each egg design are listed in the individual project.

Additional Egg Decorating Ideas

All of the wooden eggs can be written on with a marker for a different prize or dollar amount for this year's egg hunt; then stored away for next year's hunt.

A variety of wooden eggs, such as those included here, can be used to decorate an Easter tree.

Take a two to three-foot tree branch from the yard. Clean well and strip off any buds or leaves.

Painting is optional.

Plant the branch securely in a pot of decorative stones.

Tack a thin ribbon loop onto the top of each decorated wooden egg, hiding the tack with a bow.

Hang the Easter egg ornaments from the branches.

Cover the stones with Easter grass if desired (in that case, the look of the stones is not important).
