If you're looking for something a bit different for your Easter eggs this year, here are some interesting twists on the traditional dyed egg.

Additional supplies for each egg design are listed in the individual project.
Gold Embossed Egg
Gold Embossed Easter Egg Materials
- Delta Ceramcoat acrylic white paint
- Paint brush
- 1-inch ink pad in any color
- Gold embossing glitter

- Fine point permanent marking pens in various colors

Paint the egg with two coats of white acrylic paint. Let dry completely before proceeding.
Using a one inch ink pad, lay face down on the egg where desired. Making sure all the corners are laid down.
You will need to roll the pad around to do this. Do one square at a time.
Sprinkle the gold embossing glitter over the inked square. Cover well.
Shake off any excess and using a small fine paint brush, sweep away any glitter still remaining around the design.
Lay the egg, design side up, on an old towel or rag.
Use a heat tool or a blow dryer to heat the design until the embossing powder has melted and formed a raised embossed square on the egg.
Continue to do each square as above until you've create an overall pattern around the egg.
Finish off with marking pen swirls and doodles.
