Different Ways to Decorate Eggs

Designer Easter Eggs
If you’re looking for something a bit different for your Easter eggs this year, here are some interesting twists on the traditional dyed egg.
All of the examples shown use wooden eggs (except for the dyed sticker egg) and can be used for display purposes or for egg hunting.
Additional supplies for each egg design are listed in the individual project.
Dyed Sticker Egg

Sticker Egg Materials
- Traditional egg dye
- Vinegar for egg dye process
- Stickers of your choice
- Various colors of rhinestones
- Elmer’s glue
Place the stickers of your choice on a dried hard boiled egg.
Gently press the stickers down well using a smooth round surface such as a small glass or a pen.
Dye the egg as usual with any egg dye or natural dye.
After the egg is dry, take a small paring knife to gently lift off the stickers.
Place a rhinestone in the center of each flower with a tiny dot of Elmer’s glue or rhinestones with a self adhesive back on them.
[Be sure to supervise small children when peeling and eating the eggs. You don’t want any of them tasting the sparkly little gems!]
