Greeting Card Gift Box Materials

- Scotch brand Permanent Double Sided Tape
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Eraser
How to Make the gift Box
Cut the card down the fold giving you panels for the top (card front) and bottom (card back) of the gift box.
On the inside of the card front panel, use the ruler and pencil to make an X from corner to corner.

Fold all the edges to the exact center of the X.

Make cuts in the fold on two opposite ends up to the pencil line.

These will be the flaps that will form the sides of the box. Erase the pencil marking.
Fold and crease the two shorter flaps toward the center.
Crease the longer flaps; then fold them in with each corner square inside the short flaps. Place a long piece of tape between each corner and the short flap it touches to hold the corners of the box together.

You now have the lid to the box and the decorative part of the card will be on the top.

For the bottom portion of the box make the X on the inside of the card back and make the same folds as for the top but just slightly past the center of the X so the bottom of the box will be a wee bit smaller.

After you have made the folds erase the pencil marking.
Continue as for the box lid.

You now see the original card's message on the card inside the bottom of the box and the card's logo on the bottom.
