Handprint Digital Scrapbooking Journal Page
Personalize Your Journal Page With Your Handprint

This is such a fun journal page idea!
It was an assignment in the Jessica Sprague Inspiration Everywhere online course I took.

Here's how Jessica's layered Photoshop file looked at the start. Her design used digital products by Inthemaking and CrystalWilkerson.
I wanted to play with the layers and go for a totally different look. The digital products I chose are by Scrap Girls product designers Angela Blanchard and Amanda Soks.
I really like Angela's tattered and curled corrugated cardboard strip at the top and how well it coordinates with Amanda's corrugated background paper. They add a lot of dimension, as do the styles I applied to the "Hands" text.
I maxed out on styles using Drop Shadow, Inner Glow, Bevel and Emboss, Satin, Color Overlay, Gradient Overlay, Pattern Overlay, and Stroke. Phew!
My journaling says;
played,
worked,
created, and
expressed my feelings.
These hands have served me well.
The handprint isn't digital. It's the real thing.

My handprint is now preseved for posterity - in case anyone is interested. Lol.
