Where to Find the Things You Need to Make Homecoming Mums

Saw your site regarding the Texas Homecoming Mums.

I have just moved to Georgia from Texas and am very aware of these mums, as I made quite a few of them.

However, I cannot find the supplies to make them in Georgia.

Can you give any product sources in this area, other than Michaels----they do not carry the supplies here, other than ribbon.

David

I didn’t know that the homecoming mum fad had spread to Georgia! I don’t think there are yet any suppliers in your area specifically serving that market. Boy there’s a market niche waiting to be filled.

Until someone does though, you can mail order from your home state of Texas. Plush in a Rush, located in Dallas, ships anywhere in the continental U.S. for a flat fee of 12.5%. They usually ship the same or next business day.

Though none of your local suppliers have yet targeted the homecoming mum market, with a little creativity, you can find many of your supplies locally. Try the scrapbooking, card making and dollhouse sections of Joann's or any other online craft store.

If you want to use giant silk mums in your creations, track down a local artificial flower wholesaler or ask a local retailer to order them for you.

Finally read, Homecoming Mums Suppliers and Tips for a comprehensive list of mums suppliers sent to us by a visitor to this site.

Next time you head back to Texas for a visit, be sure to save room in the car to stock up.
