Where to Find Professional Jewelry Display Racks and Cases
I have been making bracelets out of inexpensive beads. I have moved from elastic to wire and crimp with toggle closures.
I may be going to a craft fair or flea market and was wondering about buying racks to display them.
Or other ideas.
Can you suggest a website where I might find some to buy or make.
Thanks
Linda
Let me tell you how I display my products at shows first.
I use a long folding plastic table. On that I place various sized empty boxes to create some visual interest. I cover it all with a dark colored table cloth that shows off the products well.
For a display rack, I use a cheap folding screen with panels made of woven reeds - I bought it years ago at a store like Pier One. Using regular shower curtin hooks, I hang appropriate items wherever they seem to fit best.
This setup has served me well for years.
For more elaborate setups, the best jewelry display rack suppliers I’ve found on the web are Display Warehouse, and Avdm.
If you subscribe to or can get you hands on a copy of the “Crafts Report” Magazine, you will also find many ads for vendors of display racks and cases.
What I usually do is find at least two websites that have what I want. Then I set up a dummy order to compare the all-in price. Shipping and handling charges can vary significantly.
So don’t be taken in by a site that has an item at half the price of any other, but then charges an arm and a leg in S&H. Also, since the sites I mentioned cater to wholesale customers like chain stores, some have an additional charge for small orders. What’s small to them, may not be small to you!
