Tassel Christmas Ornament
Ornament Supplies
- 1/2" Double-sided tape
- 12-3/4" flat back rhinestones - example shows 4 purple, 4 lavender &: 4 magenta
- Glitter - example shows light blue
- 3" of plastic decorative fringe in a coordinating color
- Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue
- Elmer's Glue-All
- 1/4 yard ribbon for the bow
Instructions
1. Take the cap off the ornament and set aside.2. Run a row of the double-sided tape from the neck around the bottom of the ornament and up the other side.
3. Run another row down, around and up making four sections around the ornament.
4. Cover the tape with glitter.
5. Glue 3 rhinestones in each section with Elmer's glue.
6. Run a small bead of the Tacky glue along the top of the beaded fringe and let set for about five minutes. Now roll the ribbon into a log so the beading forms a tassel. Let this dry completely before proceeding.
7. Hot glue the tassel to the very bottom of the ornament.
8. Replace the cap on the ornament and tie a bow to the loop.
Ribbon or fancy trims can be used instead of the double-sided tape and glitter.
