Beaded Icicle Christmas Ornament

Ornament Supplies

• 7” Silver tone 20-gauge beading wire
• 13 Crystal beads of various sizes (5-10mm in size)
• 1½” Silver tone chain – 5mm size link
• 7-1” silver tone head pins
• 12-Pearl seed beads
• 10-Silver tone bead caps
• 1-5mm silver tone split ring
• 4-Tulip beads
• 2-5mm decorative beads
• Bent nose pliers
• Round nose pliers

Instructions

1. Cut 1 ½” of silver wire and set aside for later. With the remaining wire and using the round nose pliers, form a loop at one end of the wire.

2. Open the split ring and attach the length of chain and then attach the ring to the loop at the end of the wire. Close the ring. 3. Arrange 12 of the crystal beads to the desired look and thread them onto the wire using 8 of the bead caps with the larger beads. Reserve 1 large bead for later.

4. Form a loop at the top of the wire.

5. Place 2 pearl seed beads and a tulip bead on each of 4 of the head pins.

6. Form a loop on the top and hook the loop on a link of the chain. Space the four dangles evenly on the chain.

7. With the 2 remaining decorative beads, place 1 pearl seed bead, the decorative bead and then another seed bead. Form a loop and attach these to the chain as well.

8. With the remaining large bead and head pin, place 1 bead cap, the bead and the last bead cap. Form a loop on the top and attach to the last link on the chain.

9. Form the reserved 1 ½” of wire into a hook for the ornament.
