Online crafts stores are a great place to visit for craft patterns, ideas and plans for all types of crafts.
Of course, the
stores hope that when you buy your craft supplies to make your product, that you do it from them. However, these craft resources are free to all. Whether you buy or not is up-to-you.
Joann.com has a very attractive website. In the section called “Project Ideas” you will find “magazines” devoted to all sorts of crafts, including sewing, quilting, rubber stamping, scrapbooking and floral projects.
There are lots of full color illustrations and craft patterns to download. This is a great site to visit. You’ll pick up many new ideas. Free projects at joann.com.
CreateForLess also has lots of ideas in their “Craft Advice” section. In the area titled “Techniques” you will many different articles. In keeping with the less flashy design of the entire site, there are few illustrations. However the instructions are through and simple to follow.
There is a definite emphasis on graphics arts such as faux finishes, stamping, aging & antiquing and embossing. However there are also articles about paper crafts and candle making. Click here to get to the site. Once there, click on "Craft Techniques" in the menu on the right side of the page.
While you are certainly not compelled to buy at any of these stores to make use of the free craft patterns and advice, I'm sure that while you're visiting you will note the huge selection of merchandise, along with low prices. I buy from these stores myself and can attest to their great customer service.
Why waste time and gas driving from store to store trying to find a specific item. If you can't find what you are looking for at these sites, it probably doesn't exist.
Give them a try. You'll wind up saving money and you can make your purchases from the comfort of your home 24 hours a day.
