Spray paint the pinecones gold and let dry. Use the directions in this Glittery Ornament article to apply red glitter to the tips of the pinecone’s scales.

Spray two or three coats of clear acrylic to protect the glitter.

Use the same method to apply glitter to the petal tips of the artificial flowers. Do not coat these with acrylic.

Form a piece of wired ribbon into a flat bow to fit the ornament’s top.

Make an arrangement using one or two flowers and four or five small balls. Poke the wires through the center of the bow.

Tie a seven-inch piece of gold cord into a loop. Loop the knotted end over two of the wires at the back of the bow.

Twist all the wires together. Bend them flat against the bow and cut off the excess.

Hot glue the bow topper to the top of the pinecone.
