Santa Pop Up Place Card
Perfect for Christmas Parties

Make these Pop-Up Place Cards with a Scor-It Board for Professional Results
Find the Basic Instructions for pop-up place cards here.
Using a Scor-It Board will make the work quicker and more precise. Mine is a Mini Scor-It Board and just perfect for small projects like this.
The cute little Santa graphic is from the Print Shop Pro 23 Art Gallery.
Once the 4 ΒΌ x 4-inch cards are printed onto cardstock and cut, set the Scor-It Board stop guide at 2 inches so that the metal scoring blade will be exactly centered on the 4-inch high card.
Lay the 4-inch side of a card against the Scor-It ruler and up against the stop guide as shown. This allows you to see exactly where the place card will be scored and folded and what part of the Santa will pop off the page. Use a craft knife to make a small cut to mark the portion of the Santa you will need to cut around.
Repeat marking the rest of the cards.

Lay a card on a cutting mat and use the craft knife to cut Santa's upper body and head away from the place card. The card will be folded in half; but Santa will stand up straight.

A small pointed manicure scissors can be used to cut any tight angles.
Repeat with all the cards.

Again using the Scor-It stop guide set at 2 inches, position each card against it (design side down this time) and run the scoring tool across the card where it will be folded.
Remember Santa will stand up straight and should not be scored or folded.
Repeat with all the cards.
Fold the place cards on the scored line so that Santa pops up to greet each guest at your holiday table.
