Best Printers for Computer Graphics

What do you think is is the best computer printer for making invitations?

Beth

As I said in my article about printers, I prefer HP printers over the other major brands, such as Canon and Epson.

In my experience, the colors register better and are truer to my design than what I get on other printers.

Right now I am using an old HP printer, the 5150, which I believe is no longer sold. I also had an OfficeJet 550 which printed much more quickly and had separate ink cartridges for each color (red, yellow and blue) and black. However, the OfficeJet used a separate print head, which for me at least caused a lot of problems and expense. This model has been replaced by the OfficeJet 5400 - I don't know if the print head problems were resolved.

I have since replaced the OfficeJet with a Lexmark wireless all-in-one network printer, which I am happy with, especally since Lexmark has made efforts to reduce the cost of ink.

Older deskjets normally had just two cartridges, but the trend seems to be to have separate ink tanks for each color which helps control costs a bit - you don't need a new cartridge when just one color is low.

Lexmark has taken that a step further by selling large capacity tanks at low cost and offering a trade-in program for used tanks.

But more importantly, the Lexmark is an excellent printer that produces results equal to HP's.

Printer manufacturers change models and features - sometimes as often as twice a year. Here is a link to the best deskjet printers on the market right now and here is a link to All in One Printers including the Lexmark Pro 905 which I can hardily recommend.
