Self Publishing Help

I have put a book together for myself, but want to share it with others out there.

It is about crocheting and includes a few secret cookie recipes. I do have a copyright number.

Now I just don't know how to get it out there.

Any suggestions?

Thank You

Linda

I take it you are referring to a physical book. First, I would suggest your read these articles: How Do I Publish My Craft Ideas and Publishing Craft Ideas.

The easiest way to get started is to convert the book into a PDF format. You can get a free PDF converter at Primo PDF. There are other free converters available. Do a search to find them.

Prepare your book with all illustrations included in MS Word or any other word processor, click a button and the file is then an e-book that can be sold over the web.

You can then go to a site such as Clickbank and add it to the list of books there. You will have to pay 35 - 50% of the sales price in commissions, but you will have many sites, such as The Artful Crafter, trying to promote your book, assuming it is worth it.

You could also try to sell it on sites such as eBay and keep all the proceeds for yourself.

Let me know once your book is ready in electronic form and I will try to sell it for you. Keep in mind that selling on the internet is hard and you have to make your product sound interesting and worthwhile in order to create a market for it.
