Clay Pot Reindeer Ornament
Cute Christmas Decoration

This cute clay pot reindeer can be a tree ornament, centerpiece and/or place card holder. Imagine a row of these on your table.
Make eight with brown noses and one with a red nose for Rudolph.
Add a hanger, as for the Baby Snowman Ornament to hang from the Christmas tree or use the reindeer pot ornaments as place card holders by inserting a name card into the antlers.
These make up very fast and if you have a couple of extra hands to help, you can make several in one day.

Move the cursor over the lower right corner until you can grab the corner and stretch the template so that the antler is approximately three inches tall.
Print.
Use the template to cut out the antlers and ears from brown felt.
Place a small amount of Aleene's glue along the bottom edge of the ears and pinch together to place a fold in each ear.
Use the same glue to cover the back of each antler to stiffen. Let dry for a couple of hours.
Use the glue gun to glue the googly eyes and nose to the pot.
Glue the glitter pick into the hole in the top of the pot. Make two loops from the chenille stem and twist to secure in the center.

Glue the chenille ears in the center of the glitter pick. Glue the bow in the front of the chenille stem.
Using a fine liner brush and black paint, cover just the very top of each eye forming eyelids.
Paint lashes above and below the eyes. Paint on a mouth.
When completely dry, cover these areas with a fine coat of the varnish.
When completely dry, glue the antlers behind the chenille stem and the ears in front of the chenille near the bow.
