Ribbon Craft Patterns

Hi, I am trying to find crafts using ribbons. For example, ribbon fish, Chinese lantern etc.

Can you help with any resource that you might have?

Many other ideas come to mind. You've probably already thought of these, but just in case ... Use ribbon in collages such as on scrapbook pages, greeting cards, altered paint cans and tins.

Wrap glass or plastic pillar candle holders with wired ribbon.

Use wired ribbon to make artfully arranged bows and streamers for wreaths and centerpieces.

Colorful woven ribbons make beautiful placemats and even ladies' evening jackets. See 50 Ways to Use Ribbon.

If you want to get serious about ribbon crafting, you have to buy one of these books. Deborah Henry's The Simple Art of Ribbon Design - has the winning combination of exquisite photos and easy to follow step-by-step instructions.

The second book I recommend is Martha LeVan's Beautiful Ribbon Crafts: Home Decor * Wearables * Gift Wraps * Keepsakes * & More. This may be of more interest to you since it includes several 3-D ribbon projects among its 43 project ideas.
