Versatile Craft-N-Spin Makes Crafting Neater, Faster and Easier

When I received an e-mail from the makers of the Craft-N-Spin asking if we would like to review this unusual crafting tool on The Artful Crafter, I asked them to send the free sample to my very eclectic crafting friend, Shaaron Chambers, for testing.

The Craft-N-Spin allows crafters to securely elevate and effortlessly rotate their craft projects without touching wet surfaces or waiting for the paint to dry.  Crafters can finish their projects in one sitting while protecting their nails, hands and work surfaces.

It's essentially a Lazy Susan-style turntable but with 12 Painter's Pyramids attached to it on rails instead of having a flat top like most turntables. The plastic pyramids can be moved along the rails to allow for projects of all sizes and can support projects weighing up to 100 pounds.

Of course I had to give it a little spin myself as well. I thought the turntable was really neat and extremely versatile. Its construction is of very high quality. I guess it would have to be to support so much weight!

Here is Shaaron's no-holds-barred opinion.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to test this new product and very pleased to say after a few projects that this is a very useful crafting tool.

In the past I've used a Lazy Susan or my cake decorating turntable to do some of my projects but the Craft-N-Spin has two rather big advantages over my turntables:

• 1.It does not have not a flat surface, so working down to the bottom of the project is much easier; and
• 2.The project doesn't need to be touched while I work on it.

Another very big plus is that it is adjustable to fit many different size projects as my photos show. I can use this to decorate my cakes as well. That's a bonus for me.

I love this product. But I do feel it is priced a little too high unless you are a full time crafter, artist or ... cake decorator ;-)

I would pay $30 for this handy tool myself. I do believe more would sell at a lower price.

Other than that, I am giving this clever crafting tool two thumbs up.
