Puffy Heart Valentines
Colorful Valentines Gifts

Puffy Conversation Hearts
These sweet conversation hearts are reminiscent of the candy conversation hearts everyone loves at around Valentine's - except they don't stick to your thighs and they last much longer!
They can be stuffed with fiberbill, as well as with scented cotton balls, dried lavender or any sachet filling you like.
Hand these out as a Valentines card or with a homemade card.
They're also great for the children to make and hand out to their friends.
Puffy Heart Materials
- Red, pink and white felt
- Fiberfill
- Fabric paints in red, pink and white
- Dental floss or three strands of embroidery floss in red, pink and white
- Sewing needle with a large eye
- Acrylic beads, charms and any other embellishment desired
Assembling Your Puffy Heart Valentines
Cut any size heart pattern you desire.
The large example is 5 inches wide by 3 ½ inches deep. Cut two of one color for each heart you want to make.

Decorate the front of the heart as desired.
Fabric paint with a fine tip is used here for writing a message or a word. Also beads, decorative trim and/or charms can be glued or sewn on.
Let the decorated hearts dry for a few hours.

Using white dental floss or embroidery floss and a sewing needle do a blanket stitch all the away around leaving a 3-inch opening for stuffing.

Leave the needle and thread attached so you can continue closing once the heart is filled.

Continue on with the stitching to close the heart.
Have a LOVEly time.
