Finding Discontinued Wallpaper

If Your Wallpaper Pattern has been Discontinued, You May be Able to Find More

scanned wallpaper sample

Hello,

I'm attaching a picture of a border (above) we would LOVE to get - or even the colors that are in this border.

That being said, the border is about 17 years old, so it has yellowed some with age.

The border is 7" wide and we would require 90 feet long - either in sections or one roll.  Can you please advise if you can help us out and if so the cost that we would be looking at?

ANY help you can offer will be VERY MUCH appreciated.

Thanking you in advance,

Irene

I went to WallUSA.com which carries discontinued wall coverings and searched for cornucopia or horn of plenty borders. Nothing.

However, by searching for beige borders, I found some pretty nice ones that have a similar country feel and color scheme.

Most designs come in 15-foot lengths for about $8 so the cost of the wallpaper border would be a little over $50.

The repeat lengths differ. Be sure to factor that in so you purchase enough to allow for matching up the pattern at the seams. Shipping will probably be around $20 if you live in the United States.

At Wallpaper-inc.com I found many current patterns that might work.

Again I searched for beige border paper.

Sorry, still no cornucopia but you might like this Vineyard Blessing Wall Paper Border or this Burgundy Enamelware Wallpaper Border (pictured above courtesy of Wallpaper Inc.).

These are a bit pricier but still much less than retail.

Assuming you buy seven rolls, the bill will be about $130 including shipping and handling (to the US or Canada).

Hope you find one you like ;-)
