|
|||
Guess what? I figured out how you're getting a candy stripe!
So I’ve revised the instructions.
I found the weave is easier to describe if you hold one color in each hand. I came up with a mantra that helped the work go without mistakes.
I've also added a new tip.
If you run out of pole to weave on before the braid is long enough, remove the rubber band.
Slide the woven length partially off the pole. Secure the top with a paper clip. Clamp a pinch clip on the braid and pole to hold the braid in place. Continue weaving.
I'm sorry for your trouble, but thank you for writing to let me know. And also for the new candy stripe braid design. I’ve put that up as well!
Thank you so much, Eileen, for your help....can't wait to get started with the diamondback braid.
Actually, the candy striped braid is pretty cool, too.....and I am using both the diamondback and the "candy stripe" on the next mum that I am doing!!
Wahoo!...a new braid design!!
Patti
