Eileen's Wire Sculpture Gallery
Photos of Some of My Wire Sculpture Designs

I started learning how to do wire sculpture in October 2006.
I thought it might be interesting to put up a gallery and see how (if!) my technique improves over time.
This is a bit risky, because I can't devote myself to it full time. If you've browsed around The Artful Crafter, you know that we cover as many craft types as possible, as well as provide advice on crafting as a business.
Anyway, this is just a little experiment. Plus it might provide me the incentive to find more time for wire sculpting - which I truly enjoy. I hope you enjoy a peek at my growing "body of work".
To turn a phrase: "Be kind to me; God's not finished with me yet!"
P.S. These items are not for sale. Most have already sold!

Modeled after this pendant design

November 29, 2006: Gold-Plated Cross
My first use of square gold-plate wire. Christmas gifts for sister and mother-in-law. Modeled after a Preston Reuther design found on his website.

November 29, 2006: Rose Zircon (October) Birthstone Pendant
My first original design and my first attempt using a pin vise to twist square wire into a spiral pattern (the jump rings and the front-most swirl). It was tricky getting the vise tight enough, but I like the effect.
